This is a large-volume pre-mixed that's packed full of tastes associated with Christmas time, rendering it ideal for hosting a festive gathering. Reserve the remaining syrup for morning drinks, desserts, or to make another batch of this cocktail.

Serves 10 people
Ingredients for the Clementine Cordial (makes 750ml)
300ml newly squeezed clementine juice
200ml newly squeezed lemon juice
500g fine sugar
To make the Premix (produces 850ml, enough for 10)
400ml decent vodka
100ml dry gin
150ml peach liqueur
200ml citrus syrup (from the recipe above)
Fresh cranberries, as a garnish
Mandarin essential oil, for finishing
Instructions
Making the Citrus Syrup: Put the listed items inside a saucepan, bring to a simmer, agitating so the sugar melts. After that, remove from the burner and let it to cool entirely. Decant into an sealable bottle, seal and store chilled, where it will keep for up to four weeks.
Preparing the Cocktail Base: Pour all the liquids in a big jug, leave to sit for one hour, then filter it , ideally through a fine cloth, so it's perfectly clear.
When ready to serve: Pour 85ml of your premix to a cocktail shaker packed with ice, and stir gently for a minute to chill. Pour into an cold coupe glass or a similar vessel, garnish with some cranberries and complete it by giving it a quick spritz of mandarin oil over the top.
